Men’s Health

A lifestyle magazine dedicated to showing men the practical and positive actions that make their lives better, with articles covering fitness, relationships, nutrition, careers, grooming, travel and health issues.

Men’s Health readers are active, successful, professional men who want greater control over their physical, mental and emotional lives. They are looking for in-depth reporting on everything from fashion and grooming to health and nutrition as well as cutting-edge gear, the latest in entertainment and more.

Men's Health used to be a top-notch magazine with great writers and helpful and innovative articles for all men. Writers like Greg Gutfeld and Denis Boyles gave the magazine a sharp wit and truly made the magazine a stand-out. They turned up their noses at political correctness and wrote what most others wouldn't dare. The writers were real men (and women) who weren't afraid of putting their reputations on the line.

House Beautiful

Homeowners looking for design ideas will appreciate the wide selection of styles and treatments offered in House Beautiful. From the latest in simplistic style, new takes on Bauhaus-influenced furniture, lighter approaches to Victorian architecture, and a return to the gaudy patterns of 18th-century French room treatments, House Beautiful tends toward no particular school of design. It offers the best of a wide range of ideas, trusting the readers to make decisions of taste on their own. That said, one theme tends to run throughout. People looking for low-cost designs for small homes with simple architecture are more likely to find a sense of direction in these pages than those people of mightier means looking for the full-treatment solutions

House Beautiful is a larger-than-average magazine printed on rich, glossy paper that makes the photography inside jump off the pages. It is a highly visual magazine featuring homes that are approachable and eclectic.

Family Circle

Family Circle is a fairly good magazine that features articles on family life, raising kids, travel, personal finance, home improvements, and more. It is primarily directed at the female population, with articles that emphasize the roles that mother's play in household management.

The articles that feature recipes and family life form the bulk of the stories in Family Circle. Less common are the articles involving personal finance and other topics. These financial articles are a nice addition

Family Circle is published 15 times per year, with a low subscription cost. It may not cover topics as thoroughly as other, more specific magazines and it can sometimes get a little repetitive from month to month. But it's a pretty good magazine overall, with tips on cooking, cleaning, fashion, raising kids, and taking care of one's home.
